Blockchain Philosophy, An Interdisciplinary Analytical Insight
Abstract
This paper reviews some of the basic concepts, theories and philosophical visions associated with information systems in the modern era, especially the blockchains and digital currencies, as one of the most recent innovations in this era that contributed, directly or indirectly, to the effects and changes in the various vital fields in society.
The paper provides narration, interpretation, and simplification of some distinct and hidden characteristics of information systems, blockchains and digital currencies from a professional perspective specialized in computer science with research and analysis of the extent of overlap and correlation in between with administrative, economics and legal sciences and the resultant development in the philosophy and concepts of administrative, economic and legal systems in different societies.
This paper includes some questions, hidden key ideas and critical visions from a neutral, multidisciplinary perspective related to the issue of blockchains and digital currencies and its act on distinct fields, some of which may be practical ideas and some of which may be philosophical ideas or just theories difficult to apply, but it might be as an invitation to a deep thinking on this issue from various aspects which may open new horizons that can contribute to an in-depth understanding of blockchains, establishing a comprehensive integrated digital philosophy to deal with it, resolving the ongoing controversy, and solve interlocking and interrelated problems brought by this nascent technology in the areas of Administration. Economics, law and even the other vital fields in society.
